Zigbee or Z-wave for ground floor appartment?

I’m wondering whether I should go Zigbee or Z-wave for the light switch relays in my ground floor appartment. I’m a bit worried that the many wifi hubs in the building might disrupt a zigbee signal, hence that I should go Z-wave. On the other hand, maybe that is an unfounded fear and going zigbee could save me a pretty penny, and also strenghten it’s mesh network as I most likely will have other zigbee devices in my home and I’d like to avoid having multiple seperate networks running wild in my space if not necessary.
(I was mainly looking to klikaanklikuit/Trust smarthome and Fibaro)

Bonus question: if there are any matter over thread solutions that could be an option as well, I however haven’t found any as of yet.

When I started with Homey Pro 2023 I had the same question.
My answer: Z-Wave.
Why? I didn’t want to have any distortion on my Bluetooth and Wifi 2.4 GHz equipment. So the other way around …

It works, Z-Wave, but the coverage of my standalone house (3 storage) and garden is a bit poor. You have to place Z-Wave sockets (which includes a repeater) on strategic places.

My apartment only consists of 2 rooms + bathroom which is only 13 meters in length as a whole. So I guess I won’t have such connectivity issues?

No, I don’t think so either.
Your’s is piece of cake
