Zigbee From two sources

I don’t think I fully agree, or that we fully understand each other.
For instance, regarding the new and awesome Aqara FP300 sensor. Aqara has already put out native apps for their own hub, but also for HA and for Homey that support all of the features over zigbee, including advanced settings like sensitivity and custom range settings since dec 3 2025.
Meanwhile, the support of this device over MQTT relied first on Z2M to support for these features, which was done on November 15, but the Zigbee2MQTT Homey app still does not support all of these features. see: [APP][PRO] Zigbee2MQTT - #492 by Gruijter

This is why I said that you probably won’t run into any issues related to having only one zigbee hub that relays the signal over MQTT, but (delayed) device or feature support is something worth mentioning.

Of course, it’s also not said that every manufacturer will have such good support for new devices across all hubs like Aqara does either. Some devices might indeed have better support over MQTT.
