I’m looking for suggestion for smart plugs that are confirmed to work over longer distances!
I recently purchased a set of 4 zigbee smart plugs (Nous A1Z) in the hope to extend the range by chaining them from my house all the way to my greenhouse which is located like 20m from the house (which is made of stone and thus reduces signals a lot).
This didn’t work properly, it felt like they didn’t create a mesh amongst themselves correctly and just all connected directly to the Homey Pro and thus not having a stable connection since the plugs in the greenhouse were too far away. (I couldn’t even pair them unless being inside where the Homey is located).
So, does anyone have a similar setup where you successfully chained multiple smart plugs over longer distances?
Also, since these plugs will be located outdoors, up here in the north of Sweden we get temperatures all the way down to -40 degrees celsius so they must be able to work in these conditions as well.
