Wind sensors for homey

Hi there!

I was wondering which wind sensors do you use that would work with Homey Pro? I use Netatmo, but it requires battery change, which may cause some difficulties. Thanks for any advices.

I think any windsensor will require battery changes now and then.

I’ve been using this very successfully. Nice community app for Homey. No moving parts (measures wind acoustically and rain with a haptic sensor). It does have a battery in it but also a solar panel and that means in over a year of operation I’ve not had to change the battery yet.

I understand that the rain and wind sensors aren’t in “then” condition flow, because they’re passive, but does anyone know why they aren’t available in the flow condition “and”?

You can just use logic AND cards for all sensor values and they’re even now listed alongside the app specific AND cards for easy discovery. No problem accessing rain, wind and all the other sensor values like this.
