Whatsapp app on Homey trouble connection to iPhone

Maybe a stupid question but I cannot connect the app to my phone, I have read all the instructions,

App version is 12.0.1
iPhone 14 Pro iOS versie 17.6.1

I manage Homey Pro 2019 via Web

I have downloaded the app and tried to add new device.
Put in phone number then the loading circle keeps on circling.

Can you share the link from the app store app page, screenshots maybe?

The app version you shared is not belonging to any of these:
WhatsApp app: v1.25.1
CallMeBot Whatsapp: v1.5.1

The App version is from my Homey.

The version from the Whatsapp is: v1.25.1

The version from CallMeBot is: v1.5.1

At this moment I am working with CallMeBot, but I would like to switch to the Whatsapp app, so I can address more than one person (myself).

v12.0.1 is the Homey firmware version :wink:
The Homey app version is to be found @ mobile app, …More>Settings>General, below the header “App”

My guess, you used the instructions from the Whatsapp app v1.25.1, to setup Callmebot whatsapp v1.5.1
These apps work very different

The app version is 8.4.1.1538

To be clear at this moment I use CallMeBot and that works fine.
I want to use the Whatsapp app INSTEAD or is this not possible?

Of course it is.

I have no glass bowl. When you don’t tell you did read the right instructions, I assume you didn’t.
It is nothing personal and I was absolutely not judging your intelligence.
But you seemed to ignore lots of things, that’s why I kept repeating myself.

So, if you’re not stupid, you of course took my (and @Mike1233 's) advice,
and so you posted your problem at that Whatsapp topic (I won’t mention it a 4th time here).
The developer reads along in there, and fellow WA app users. I hope a fix is on it’s way.

I’ve got it working now, I received an automatic App(whatsapp) update, tried again to install it and it works fine now!
