Homey Link will also be something new for in 2025 or so. So you can put that on the list

Ah, I though it exists already, okay

Hi @Doekse
I have technical questions please, in the last episode @emile described skipping zwave in the hpm was because of the expensive chip price, is there any other concerns? What. you guys think about smart home protocols and if someone would like to manufacture smarthome devices what protocol he should adapt?

Hi everyone,

The sixt episode of the Homey Podcast is now live! :tada:

Kicking off 2025, @Emile and I dive into the brand-new Kiosk feature in Homey Dashboard and HomeyLink. Plus, we take a look back at all the smart home news that came out during and after CES in January.

P.S. Leave your questions for the next episode in the comments below—who knows, we might answer yours! :speech_balloon:

Hello!

What happen with groups that you talk about in the first pod?

That’s currently in development

The LaMetric Time you talk about in the podcast. I have one too. Just a remark: There is a Stocks app you can run on the clock itself. No need to push the stock data from Homey to the clock.
But what is the fun in that

Hi @Doekse

The voices in the podcast sound weird in German (like a 4 year old child)!!

Is there a link so I can listen to the original?

I think the automatic translation feature is enabled in your YouTube. We don’t record in German

Yes it was, you never stop learning…:man_shrugging:

@Doekse, you mentioned that you are working on dynamic prices for the Energy tab. How will this be implemented? Is Homey fetching the prices, is it set by flows or maybe both?

We will be retrieving data directly from the energy market and collaborating with energy providers to ensure accurate and reliable data

Another great podcast. A few podcasts ago there was talk about an option to make devices invisible. Is there any insight into when this highly sought after option will be available to me?

Nice, hope this is coming in the near future. Would make the energy tab really useful

Thanks for nice Energy tab Doekse, I really enjoy it, in the december podcast you where hoping to have the dynamic prices working already by end of January, or beginning of February, can you update us on when you think it will be up’n running?

Hello Abe,

About:

Curious: can you tell if this is implemented, or isn’t?
Because this was announced as part of future plans in Podcast #5;
And it’s mentioned a KB about Sat mode:

Thanks!

Question/suggestion:
In mobile app. unintended on/off switch of device is not hard to get when scrolling etc. Is there any chance of having a setting for on/off devices like ’Demand confirmation’ that, when checked, throws an ok/cancel dialog before sending the on/off-command to Homey?

Best regards
Jan

Another great podcast. A few podcasts ago there was talk about an option to make devices invisible in the homey app.
