I am delighted

Migrating my HP2019 to the new HP2026 right now.
Still have to figure out what to do with the absence of a speaker and app controllable led ring.
Think I will use the HP2019 as satellite only for those purposes.
I couldnât agree more with these winners. Well deserved!
Unfortunately, nothing has arrived in Germany yet. ![]()

Whatâs the black ball one?
Where did you get the tracking information?
Didnât Abe (@ doekse) send you tracking info?
Whoops, forgot to share it with you! Check your Slack ![]()
Thatâs my first Homey, from Kickstarter.
Back then when a certain stretch goal would be reached multiple colours would be made, and I wanted black. The strech goal wasnât met, so I decided to paint it myself. And since I opened it up to paint it I also soldered antenna mounts to the PCB for an external Zigbee and Z-wave antenna ![]()
(The zigbee antenna is barely visible, the z-wave is visible on the left side)
How it all started: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/athom/homey-the-living-room-talk-to-your-home
From @Doekse via PM on Slack, as already mentioned.
Soooo⌠When the parcel arrived, I dived into migrating right away, it was a bit of a time consuming hassle with 2 Pro 19âs and no plans up front.
No unboxing movies here (I never got my head around the why
), but pictures, yes.
I noticed the 4GB description at the memory section right away, but I assumed it was a just a typo, because at âModelâ it said âHomey Pro 2023â.
But is seems to be a Pro 2026 with actual 4GBâs of memory ![]()
, what a surprise, again!
Thanks Athom and thank you all voters
With the accidentally installed rc firmware update it shows 2026 now:
The first 62 apps seem to run fine, one hundred should be possible as it seems?
Wifi connection works fine up 'till now
One issue: the 433MHz radio doesnât respond at all.
When operating migrated devices it says â433MHz sent too many commandsâ.
What about the classic Proâs?
They keep functional as backup / test machines and for 433MHz for now ![]()
And I still like to use the LED ring as âcandlesâ, and power import/export indicators (red/green) during the day.
I didnât use the speaker much, but I very much would like a Bluetooth speaker possibility on the next Pro 2026 firmware update ![]()

Somewhat unexpected: no need for Microsoft.
The USB tool works with linux (Mint) + Chromium browser ![]()
Oh, and offline backup + restore went very well!
Wow that is a great prize! Congratulations and compliments to AthomâŚ
(By the way: hope you get the Rituals Genie connected to your WiFi. Rituals has been rubbish for months now. See the iOS Android appstores for reviewsâŚ)
I finally got around to installing my HP2026 Special Edition today.
Looks very nice! And I love the 4GB, finally I have some memory space left ![]()
Thanks @athom!
