I have spent close to four hours trying to create a support ticket for a problem that I need Athom to deal with; all roads lead back to the self-help page, which in turn leads back to the community forums.
I keep seeing references to creating a ticket but all of them, surprise, lead back to that same Self-help page.
I did find a support email address, but guess what? That has an auto-reply that leads, I know you are dying to know, that self-help page again. The email even says you can create a ticket there but of course you can’t.
This is my problem.
I had to rebuild my SHS system from scratch due to some sort of corruption that filled the disk and stopped the system from even booting.
Due to complications in creating a new system, I now have four SHS’s listed against my account
Account namel on request
Three are listed as Homey Self-Hosted Server, the fourth is named XXXXXXX (redacted) Self-Hosted Server
The three dead servers cannot be deleted from within the Homey app as the data sources have been deleted. The delete button says they have been removed but they are still in the listing
The duplicates are preventing me from linking Homey to Google Home, which just disappears into a spinner from which it never returns when I try to link Homey.
I need the three dead servers removed/deleted, all named Homey Self-Hosted Server, from my account.
You can reach out to Athom support via Support | Homey. After logging in choose ‘My Homey isn’t listed’ and complete the form below.
Keep in mind though that Athom does not provide the level of support for SHS than for their non-SHS products (that’s why you don’t get a form to submit a support ticket if you select SHS as your Homey). For SHS you have to rely more on help from the community. But you can always try of course via the indicated route.
I have been able to delete two of the four but I can’t delete the original one as it still has a subscription against, however, there are no details of the sub when I click manage subscription so I am stuck and I have had to raise a ticket.
Thanks for the link, I have had to raise a ticket/
I just kept going round in a circle with multiple pages including a link to raise a ticket which actually returned me to the top of the self-help page, hence my frustration.
