Support for Homey Early 2018 stopped?

Hi All,

I was excited about the latest news update where we should now be able to exclude devices to sync with Google Home ( New updates for Google Assistant & Alexa | Homey News).

However, I don’t see that option anywhere. The availablity in this article mentioned:
All these updates are now available for Homey Pro (Early 2023), Homey Pro mini, and Homey Cloud (Free and Premium), starting with [Homey Pro v12.3.3]

I’m a long time Homey supported and still have a perfectly running Homey Early 2018. Did they stop supporting that? Will new features like this no longer be available on the Homey Early 2018?

In that case I would need an update, but this will make a stronger case for Home Assistant that will just keep running on previously bought hardware, or other by partially upgrading modules. I hate tossing out perfecly good hardware because the vendor moved on again.

Hope I’m wrong about this and this update will also be available on the early 2018 versions.

Thank you for your quick response Dijker!

The early 2018 model is not listed in the availability, there is also no mention that it would arrive on this version somewhat later. Didn’t know that they had prior updates coming later to the 2015-2019 version, but that is hopeful to hear.

A better working integration with Google Home would be great, so I’m really keen on this update to reach my Homey.

I’ll be a bit more patient then, awaiting these features. If they indeed keep fully supporting it until 2028 that would be something I could live with.

I have been waiting for this too. We had an update the other day but excluding drives wasn’t included.
