Hi,
I have found an interesting thing. An outlet for 4 standard plugs and 2 USB. All controlled via Zigbee in 5 channels. Before buying it I checked and found it in the Robb Smartt app. It will however be installed as unidentified Zigbee and thus only control the first socket. Has anyone else tried this and hopefully succeeded in installing it?
If it’s added as an unidentified device it means there is no app that supports it. Even though the Robb Smartt app may say it’s supported, you could have an updated/changed version of the device that isn’t being recognised, and will require the app to be updated.
One thing you can try: interview the device. Sometimes it unlocks additional functions:
https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/zigbee
If it doesn’t work, request for ‘real’ device support at Robb’s. Maybe they’re still unaware.
Did you also buy the device in the RobbShop?
The RobbShop states whether the device is compatible with Homey or not.
If it is not from RobbShop, please contact the app developer of the EasyLighting app. This app supports devices from Sunricher.
Thank you for good input!
It is not from Robb but the Swedish m.nu.
I will try interviewing it and if it doesn’t work go and ask for inclusion in the app!
;o)
Sunricher and robbshop are not (completely) the same device.
While robbshop’s version is only a rebranding (and internal IDs), that does make it a completely different device and brand.
