Hmm, even under Ihost i dident get higher than v1.1.1.
- Try to stick with the stable releases.
Hmm, even under Ihost i dident get higher than v1.1.1.
I added them to the Sonoff hub pro and there was a firmware update for the valves dont think it’s an experimental firmware - the eWelink app shows all the info of the device and works as it should just wish Homey did that - looking into using IFTTT with Homey hopefully I should be able to control the valves through Homey and still retain all the features - never used IFTTT so will have to see how that goes
Hi Woto, seams weird ig you cannot get it to work…
you have tryed this??
Sonoff App til Homey | Homey
Hey
Yes tried that app and the Sonoff Zigbee - with that one if I alter the TRV then it doesn’t update to Homey but altering it in Homey then the TRV will alter also there is no battery indication - I also found that after a while the actual temperature got stuck - when I test this I have two lcd temperature gauges a Fibaro motion sensor using the temp gauge and a Sonoff temperature gauge all together so I can get readings from them all to check the TRVs that I am testing - have a look at this VIDEO
Hi Woto.
Yep for now it only have a limited Support, but the themostat works on regulating the temp.
start with fresh batteries, and wait for an update…
I could live with the limited support but it’s the actual temperature getting stuck that I can’t live with so for now will just use them with eWelink app and Sonoff hub - every time there is an app update will test it out and hopefully it might work at some point
Hi Woto.
Hmm, i simply cannot get the same result you are getting???
i made a manual adv. flow with a weather service that use the location of your homey for my thermostats. - It updates every hour.
i realy hope this helps
Hey Frank
Got thinking using the eWeLink app isn’t working out for me as I thought it would because its not talking to Homey so having to use it independently to Homey - As you said they have limited support at the moment but Homey can still tell the valves what temperature they need to be at - I didn’t want to use the temperature gauge on the TRV as that doesn’t give an accurate reading of the room instead use an external temperature gauge linked to the TRVs - Not used advanced flows before as I tend to use my phone or iPad for years now - started to build my first flow to test if it was possible to what I wanted - I will have 12 TRVs around the house and 8 thermostats or add more if need be - This flow is what I came up with - I’ve tested this multiple times and it seems to work well - Here is a VIDEO of a room calling for heat and another VIDEO turning the heat off.
Hi guys!
Could need some help here. I have a Sonoff TRVZB which I try to add to Homey since it should be supported. But when trying to add it I get to this screen and I’m lost. There is no reset button on the thermostat and no red LED’s from what I can see. How did you guys get past this screen and how did you get Homey to connect to the thermostat?
Have you checked the manual?
In principle, the information in the instructions is relevant. The information on the pairing screen may be incorrect.
But as I don’t own this TRV myself, I don’t know what is right or wrong.
Well first of let me thank you, I did have a small paper in the box with those instructions, but being a dumbass I just read the first page and missed the important part.
Thank you!
