When I switch to a selected mood (via flow or directly from the app), it turns on lights in last remembered brightness, which can be brighter, then requested. Then it immediately goes to the requested brightness. This way turning on dimmed mood from complete dark is usually turning on full brightness and then immediately going to relaxed one. Manually, I avoided it by setting myself all lights in the advanced flows to set the brightness of the light and not turning it ON before. This way it goes from zero to the required brightness level smoothly. Could it be also changed in the implementation of moods, that lights are not turned on and than dimmed to the required brightness, but rather only dimmed to the brightness directly (which should turns the light on also)? I use ZIGBEE lights from different producers (IKEA, Hornbach, …) on HOMEY zigbee network plus HUE lights with original Philips zigbee hub.
Unfortunately this is not generic behaviour.
Certain lights will turn on by only changing the dim level, others won’t.
The Moods “example” app Zone Memory is able to turn on lights at the desired dim level, even if it’s lower compared to the previous dim level.
