Hi everyone,
I recently tried to add a Shelly Pro 2PM (WiFi/Ethernet version) to my Homey Pro (2026) using the official Shelly app, but the device does not appear in the device list.
The Shelly Wave Pro 2PM (Z-Wave) is listed and works fine, but the WiFi/Ethernet variant of the Pro 2PM is completely missing from the app.
My setup:
- Homey Pro 2026
- Shelly Pro 2PM (model: SPSW-202PE12UL, firmware 1.7.4)
- Connected via Ethernet (static IP)
- Shelly app installed (cloud.shelly)
What I tried:
- Searched for ‘Shelly Pro 2PM’ in the device list → no results
- Searched for ‘Pro 2’ → only Wave (Z-Wave) variants appear
- The Shelly Pro 2PM is reachable via its web interface on the local network
- Homey and the Shelly are on the same network
Workaround I currently use:
- Installed MQTT Broker, MQTT Client and MQTT Hub apps on Homey
- Configured MQTT on the Shelly Pro 2PM pointing to Homey’s IP on port 1883
- Manually configured the device in MQTT Hub with onoff capability
- Created a Flow using the MQTT Client ‘send message’ flow card to control the device
- Status updates from the Shelly are received correctly in Homey
- However, the on/off button in the Homey app itself does not control the device — only the Flow works
This setup works but is very complex and not user-friendly, especially for a multi-zone floor heating project with 14 zones (7 Shelly Pro 2PM devices).
My questions:
- Is native support for the Shelly Pro 2PM (WiFi/Ethernet) planned for the Shelly app?
- Is there a better way to integrate the Shelly Pro 2PM without MQTT?
- Any timeline on when this might be added?
Thanks in advance!
