I’m trying to program the following:
At work we have a screen where we want to display an update multiple times a day with turnover and stuff. This image we want to share with the team aswell through a group WhatsApp.
What we have:
Screen has a Chromecast
WhatsApp group exists and I have the Whatsapp app connected to the group and Homey.
What I’ve tried/noticed already and what we want to achieve:
The Homey WhatsApp app can not retrieve the Image from WhatsApp, it can however send the image.
We can cast the image from Homey to the screen, through the Chromecast app (not sure however how long it will stay on screen, but could make a flow to repeat the process every hour.)
There should be multiple managers capable of sending the image, and it should be as dummy proof as possible. Uploading it into homey would be too much of a hastle. Easiest would be to e-mail, whatsapp, teams message etc it into Homey.
I have access to the MS365 envoirment so could also make a forms, have them upload it there but then I need a way through powerautomate it out of the security walls of our organisation and upload the image somewhere semi secure where homey can acces the image trough url.
I’ve been trying for 2 hours but I haven’t found a way yet. Hopefully someone here has the magic tip.
