I want to be able to say “alexa, light up the place” and have the states of all lights saved, and then all of them turned on at maximum brightness. Then when I say “alexa, return to normal” have all of the lights returned to their previous state. Similarly, I want this to be able to happen with the change of a sensor, such as someone opening a door I always leave unlocked. Chat GPT suggests I set up a variable for each light, save the state there, and then restore later. That sounds like a major PITA when this was a matter of clicking check boxes on Hubitat.
