Restore local installed app from a (local) backup

Is there any chance to mount a local homey backup file to restore an installed app (which is not in the atom App Store).

I had to restore my homey from a cloud backup but my local app was not in there.
I hope to get it out of an local stored backup file (via USB)

any tips would be great

You can extract the backup using 7-Zip (twice) and then you can mount 5.img file with something like DiskInternals Linux Reader. That disk will contain an apps folder with all installed apps. You can use those to cli install tham again.
