[Request] Divider/Spacer

Hi,

In my quest to create the best dashboard possible for my use case, I am looking for the possibility of adding dividers/spacers or transparent sections as widgets.

One reason for this is that I am planning to have a page on my main dashboard dedicated to all the lights in my home, and it would be really nice to be able to adjust the spacing between widgets. In my case, I would use this to divide different groups of lights by floors by rows.

Here is an example:
Demonstration

I tried mimicking a divider/spacer by adding an empty web page to the Web Page widget, but that added a white background. However, I think that something that behaves like the Web Page widget where you can choose the height either by pixels or percentage, but with a transparent background, could be a nice and relatively easy way of implementing this functionality.

One extra effect of this could be that by enabling a title for this potential transparent widget, one could have titles that are not bound to one specific widget as well.

This request is just an idea of how to implement this into the current state of Homey’s dashboard functionality. Another way could be to add support for rows so that the editing process behaves more like tables with cells spread across both rows and columns.

Sounds like something which could be part of the Widgey app? ( @Waldo )

Definitely!
I still have a small bug to fix in another widget, but I’ll pick this up straight after

I’ve added a vertical spacer widget to the latest test version of Widgey. @johbiraus
