Widget across multiple columns

I can’t figure out whether it’s possible to make a widget span multiple columns. Can anyone help me?
For example: date, weather forecast… the first widget on the first row but stretched across the entire width of the screen.

It’s not possible to make 1 widget use multiple columns.

With a bit of creativity, you can make it look like one screen
