Rademacher Rollotron

I ´m searching a way to integrade the Rademacher Rollotron 1400 to the Homey Pro 3. A Rademacher Homepilot App???

It doesn’t work directly, there is no app. I found the following solution for myself:
I have HomeAssistant running on my Synology, which I needed for a connection between Homey and Homematic. In order to use Homematic, you have to install HACS, there is no official Homematic app for HomeAssistant. HACS also provides a Rademacher HomePilot app (beta), which you can use to control my yourshutters and which works well for me. Now I can control my Rademacher roller shutters in Homey via the HomeAssistant app with the roller shutter tile. Rollotron can be controlled with the new Homepilot app, if I’ve seen this correctly.

This works with Home Assistant, but you need another Raspberry Pi or somewhere to install it. I wanted to reduce the number of bridges and not install more. That was the reason for buying the HomeyPro.

Hi Rosei.
Do you know if the model RolloTron smart flush-mounted belt winder pure (Product number: 10122345) is compatible with Home Assistant without any other bridge or if it needs something else?
Thanks

Carlo

Hi,
you need the bridge, nothing more.

If I’m right, the Rademacher/homepilot bridge is needed to control the rollotron from distance, costs another 200 (not to mention an optional zigbee radio: 40€). However, as far as I see there isn’t a Homey app to connect this bridge to Homey, so you can’t integrate the rollotron in your homey flows.
Correct me if Im wrong, please.

I’m using the way over a FritzBox with its Dect interface.

All my Rollotrons are connected to a FritzBox and the FritzBox Bridge App in Homey and its flows… You can then even use Alexa to control them.

But if you don’t have a FritzBox …

Too bad… Got a Fritz!Repeater 3000, no Fritz!Box. But the point seems to be you need a gateway that supports Fritz! Smart Home. They have just a gateway (I don’t need the box) for 90€, that offers just Smart Home.
So, is it correct you can connect Rollotron directly to the fritz!box?
Furthermore, what are your experiences with te mechanical power of te Rollotron. Are they really strong enough to pull 30 kg up?

I just noticed that there are many different Rollotrons.

I’m using these ones:

It can be connected directly to the Fritzbox DECT Interface without the need for an extra gateway.
As you can see from the description it can pull up up to 45 kg.
With the Fritzbox Bridge App from Homey you can bring it into Homey and with the Fritzbox Skill into ALEXA.

As my windows are surrounded by concrbete walls, this version is not suitable for me. I’m interested in this one, that should be able to pull 30 kg: RolloTron premium Aufputz | HOMEPILOT
