Problem visually differentiating buttons during device pairing

Hi,

I am building a driver that will be covering a number of switch devices. When adding a device, there are going to be about 6 different icons, one per driver, which is one per device type.

I have modeled this out and I have realized that the names of the device types are too long to be displayed in the buttons. And given the product naming scheme, the words that get cut off are the ones that are necessary to differentiate the products. The result is that for at least half the buttons, it is a guessing game of which button do I press to pair the product I have.

Is there a way to fit more text in the buttons?
I tried adding colour to the icon.svg, but Homey removes all colour and only shows a black and white icon. I asked on Slack if there was a way to colour the icon.svg and got the answer that there was not.

Colouring the icon would have solved the problem.
Getting more space for the product name would also solve the problem.

Are there any other ways to solve the problem?
Thanks…
