Preserve light state+setting after event?

I’m trying to figure out if following scenario is possible, two variations:

Light is on (say 75%) , an event is triggered (i.e. motion sensor) that flashes same lamp 3 times.
Light returns to previous state, on 75%.

Light is off, an event is triggered (i.e. motion sensor) that flashes same lamp 3 times.
Light returns to previous state, off.

Is it possible to save state+setting and re-use them after event?
Example anywhere available?

My Tuya-controlled lights retain their settings if you turn them on and off via Homey. Have you checked if yours do the same? If they do, you just need to detect the on/off state in the flow and either execute three off/on steps or three off/on steps depending on the state.

How do You determine if lights are on or off before the event starts?
After lights has “blinked” three times the last command is turn off the lamp?
And after that the lamp, if turned on before event, should be turned on again.

Or am I just overthinking this or missing something obvious?

Perhaps Zone Memory could be of use?

You can use variables. And usually you can check if the lamp is on or off with a Logic card and the right tag.

Thanks!
I’ll try try to figure out how to use variables without creating a spaghetti chaos.

Like Niclas sais, use the app Zone Memory App för Homey | Homey

OK, thanks, gonna try that as well.

Just trying to avoid installing too many apps….
