Pin code on devices in dashboard

I have a tablet by the front door, find it really useful. At the moment I hide my buttons for disarming and arming the surveillance system. Would like to have it on the first page and the device column is lock with a pin code. :shield:
Or Do u guys have other smart solutions?

I use HDadhboards. I have a pincode on security and thermostats. But this app cost 25 euro a year but I think it is worth it.
You can make a dashboard for every user with their own restrictions.

I’ll look in to it!

I bought it also. Well worth $25/year to have an Alarm Panel secure at entry area.

I got the ”hdashboards” and I can just say thank you so much! It’s a great dashboard and lots of potential. It got some improvement areas but for just a ”hobby project” by a single Man you can’t ask for more.

you can submit your ideas for improvements to the developer. he is always open to good ideas (if technically possible.

Mine turned out perfect for my needs. Using an old iPad, set it to “Guided Access” and keep it plugged in. (No sleep). Then used my Hdashboard and locked features so dashboard screen cannot be changed (gray circle-top left) and add PIN to the Disarm button in the Hdashboard settings.

I just installed and started to configure HDashboards. I am currently using the Homey Dashboard. One of the primary reasons for evaluating HDashboards is the ability to pin protect a tile/button on the dashboard. I have a virtual button to disarm my security system. I added it in and set up pin protection but for some reason when I push the button it immediately disarms rather than bringing up the pin dialogue. After disarming if I do a longer press it brings up the pin keypad but at this point the alarm is already disarmed. Am I missing something?

I think I figured out what may be the problem. Since the button starts a flow to do disarm I needed to create a tile for the flow and not the button. That seems to work. But not sure why I can’t pin protect the button itself from being pushed.
