Philips Hue Wall Switch Module Dimming

Hey everyone, I’ve got the Hue Wall Switch Modules installed and they work really great within the Hue App. However, the lamps I want to control with the Switches are not Zigbee lamps so I want to do it via Homey. On/off seems to work but how can I get the dimming function to work? Like dimming the lamp on long press?

Longpressing buttons to perform smooth dimming is not in the minds of the Homey creators.
It’s odd though, while the KaKu/CoCo/Trust stuff can do ‘press button & dim up/down’ tricks since 1990
But it is possible to build a hold & dim-like functionality:

This topic is to explain how you can use long press/release with a button to dim lights. Note that if you use z-wave associations you do not need this tutorial, and dimming will be smoother. But for all other cases, this will do the trick. For this tutorial I implemented one-button dimming, where the lights dim up and down until the button is released. Thanks for sharing it seems we extensive, I’ll look into it! It’s unfortunate that the dimming functionality can’t be easily replicated. Is the guide pudding if you only have „button clicked“?
