I’ve been looking at Govee, Lifx, GE Cync, patio lights and I’m seeing all kinds of mixed reviews.
Has the community found any they would recommend?

What do you mean with “patio lights”? Which light do you have (E27, GU10, etc.)?
I just bought 2 strings of these to hang over our deck. Plugged into a Meross outdoor dimmer plug. They are not color with fancy effects but we didn’t need that.
So you mean these type of lights?
I know LSC Smart Connect has them (Tuya). However, I have no experience with any. You can use a cheap smart plug like the Tapo P100 and an “old-school“ light (or an outdoor plug like the Brennenstuhl Tuya plugs or the Shelly outdoor plugs).
How is this related to Homey?
It’'s about smart lights compatible with Homey I think
