Hi everyone,
being new to Homey and having read a lot of related posts here, can anyone please help with this question: Aqara devices seem to work with Homey in principle, but I got the impression that (if the device is supported) not 100% of its functions will be supported/usable in Homey Pro.
So, is it possible to have the Aqara app in parallel to integrating the devices in Homey Pro? For example: the Aqara Hub G5 outdoor camera and the Aquara Doorbell G4 seem to be quite versatile devices, but they are not supported with full functionality in Homey Pro. Would be nice to have the features in Aqara app then.
Thanx!
The devices you mention are wifi based, while the Aqara app is meant for zigbee based Aqara devices.
For cams with support for the ONVIF protocol, you can use the Onvif app
Thank you. Sadly both mentioned devices don’t support ONVIF. I was thinking about other advanced features (such as face recognition and the ability to trigger automations then) - I assume that they can’t be used in Homey for those purposes. If some of the features of a device (e.g the mere stream of a camera. the basic features of a presence sensor) can be used in Homey, but other more advanced features of the same device not - can you include the device in both Homey and the Aqara app at the same time?
No problem.
Oh, that’s too bad.
FYI Homey can’t stream video yet. Athom claims it will become possible in the Dashboards section one day.
That’s possible with any picture / motion snaphot, hardware independent: [APP][Pro] FACE++ Face Recognition for Homey
No clue.
