Mitsubishi Aircon by Infrared

I’m busy to connect a Mitsubishi Aircon by Infrared. I have a Homey Pro connected with a Homey Bridge in the same room then the Aircon. After I install the Mitsubishi App Mitsubishi Electric AC Airconditioning App voor Homey | Homey I connect the right Antenne in the Advanced Settings.

It looks the are totally no IR commands send. The airconditioning is totally not working. With the standard remote it’s working fine.

In which way I can test or see something wat is sended by the Homey Bridge?

Start the camera on your phone, and aim the phone’s lens to the IR transmitter. When signals are sent, you’ll see a bright white light in the phone display.
This works with any digital cam btw. (and how webcams can “see” in the dark).

And also try if it responds to Homey Pro IR signals, to see if the Bridge is the problem or not.

If you can’t manage it at all, I can recommend the Switchbot HUB Mini. It’s very cheap and can learn the infrared signals of any remote control. Of course, it is compatible with Homey, so Homey can control your air conditioning and other IR devices.

I checked the IR from the Homey Pro and the Honey Bridge but no IR is coming out in total. Strange I go contact Homey.

Did you also test with any of your IR remotes, to see if you really can view the IR LED light with the phone cam trick?

Buy a sensibo device integrate with homey over wifi. It controlled the airvo by ir
