I like your product very much, for a lot of reasons.
One of them is that there is no subscription.
I just bought a new Homey Pro (2026) and was looking forward to migrating to the new one.
I was certain that it would be possible for customers like me, that have bought 2 Homey Pros, that I of course can migrate between to Homey Pros .
To my BIG disappointment, I found out that I need to purchase a subscription for cloud backups and restore it from clou d.
I do not want your cloud back up!
A possibility to make a local backup (download backup) and upload the backup to the new Homey Pro is the absolute minimum you should have for customers buying your hardw are.
I am sorry but I hate subscriptions so much that I am willing to sell both my Homey Pros, and switch everything back to HA.

About the issue:
When you’re talking about the Pro 2016-2019 series (white spheres): yes it’s only possible to export everything per cloud backup functionality.
This is available on a whopping 1€ monthly basis, and if I’m right the first month is without cost.
(Oh and a yearly subscription is setting you back 10€)
So what’s the problem.
Next time I’d like to suggest to just ask how things work, instead of complaining about a possible 1€ you might have to “invest”
