I have a Vilpe Roof Fan E190 EF installed on the roof.
I would like to be able to control the on / off as well as the fan speed.
The Homey platform accepts controllers that communicate via zigbee, zwave, wifi protocols.
I tried already the Shelly Dimmer 2 but the device overheats.

Shelly support told me it is not built for inductive loads but they also recommended to “bypass our devices by using an RC snubber” I still need to try this one out.

Do you have an advice on which product(s) I should get / build in order to be able to integrate the fan in my smart home setup
I could as well divide the problem into:
a- dimming the fan speed
b- making the dimmer “connected”
