LG WebOs does not work

Right… haha, I pictured it as the issue when the tv can’t be found anymore.

Soooo, is it possible you own an unsupported model? ( more recent than app updates?)
You can create a ticket (called issue) at the GitHub site of dev Max:

@Peter_Kawa There is no point in writing to the developer; I already created an issue in March and have still not received any reply.

Yeah, I saw a similar issue, but couldn’t link it to you.

Let’s hope Max can find some time soon to support the app.

Hi,

I managed to fix the problem.
In my case the issue was caused by my TV being connected through Deco WiFi extenders, while my Homey was connected directly to the router. The extenders weren’t set to access point mode, so they created a different subnet.

After switching the Deco to AP mode and letting my router handle all the routing, the TV and Homey ended up in the same subnet. From then on WebOS Plus was able to detect the TV right away.

This also solved a bunch of other connectivity issues I was having with different apps.
Might be worth checking your network setup to see if you’re running into the same thing.

That is exactly the same configuration that I have, but WebOs PLus does not detect my TV properly. What LG Tv model do you have?

It’s a LG 55NANO886PB

Thank you, mine is an OLED65C44LA

Dam! In webOS 25 the app always ready is gone from the applications in flows! How can we start it automatically now from flow? I did have it on a scene..

bring it back please..

or anyone with another suggestion?

Hi Daniel,

I can’t quite get what you mean.
With WebOS 25 you mean the menu on the TV itself?
In case the issue is: you can’t turn on the TV anymore:
try Wake-On-Lan app, and

Hi Peter

”LG’s “Always Ready” is a TV feature that keeps the screen active for a minimal display of artwork, photos, or useful information”

On LG Honey app Always Ready was available under the open app card. After I have update my LG tv to WebOS 25 the Always ready app is no longer accessible under the open app card in the LG app for Honey.

hope I explained a little better :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
