Is Homey's Energy Dashboard strange, or do I miss something

Here is a picture of my Energy Dashboard.

My solar panels are producing 1152,8 Watts.
My Fronius App shows this value and Battery -501 as it is charging. Homey shows only 651.8 Watts and 501 Watts for my Battery. Both positive values. Isn’t that strange ?
All systems I see show the actual production of the solar pannels and the battery as a consumer as it is charged by the production.

Maybe I miss something, but I did not find a way to change this behaviour.

It looks like your battery is not actually configured as a battery. Instead, Homey appears to be seeing your battery as solar panels.

You can tell by 2 things:

  1. There is nog battery shown on the wall of the house
  2. The battery has a solar icon instead of a battery icon.

You can check the support page for comparison.

I would recommend reaching out to the app developer.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the app hasn’t been updated for about five months, and on GitHub there are several more recent complaints that haven’t received any response either.

There are currently two community Fronius apps in the Homey app store. One requires enabling Modbus, which my installer explicitly advised against, as it can interfere with the existing programmed logic of the system. The other app mainly supports older Fronius devices and doesn’t properly cover the newer hardware in my setup.

Because of that, I’ve started developing my own app. I’m still new to Homey development, so it will take some time, but I think I’m making good progress so far.
