Initiating device as tag/variable in advanced flows

It would be great if the initiating device (trigger) of a flow was included as a tag/variable in the advanced flows. I have several flows that initiate with several different devices and it would be great to more easily be able to identify which thing triggered the flow.

Now I can add a set variable step right after the trigger, but that makes for a lot of them and the flow gets a little messy. Many flows already set a tag of some sort in the trigger, I’m just asking for the name of the device as well.

I use Simple Log flow cards for that.
You can connect them to any card.

Yeah. I realize I can just set a variable in a logic card right after each of the trigger cards, to have a variable available for logging or whatever, but that makes for a heck of a lot of cards in the flow. If each flow automatically had the name of the device or flow or whatever triggered it, that would simplify it a lot. Could also just be a flow-scoped variable that contained the name of whatever triggered that particular flow.
In this screenshot I’ve marked all the triggers…. If I have to double the number of cards in the flow, just to “remember” which trigger actually fired, it just becomes a mess.
