Keep in mind that Homey Bridge is intended to work in a single location, ensuring seamless connectivity within your home. Using it in Satellite Mode won’t extend your Zigbee and Z-Wave networks to another building, even if you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
And
Wi-Fi with internet access is required
While Homey Bridge connects to Homey Pro directly on LAN, Homey Bridge needs Wi-Fi with internet access to connect to Homey Pro every time it powers on. Homey Bridge might pulsate red if your internet is offline until it can reconnect to Homey Pro.
Thanks for the quick response. i wil look in to other ways to make a connection with te homey pro wihout buying a 3th homey(that is a little bit expencive)
To be more precise, It isn’t that it can’t be on another WiFi network but both shoulld be on the same LAN / L2 network.
If you Extend the nework to that location it could fe work to have there an other Homey Self-Hosted Server with it’s own z-wave and Zigbee networks serviced by Homey Bridge.
I do have a vpn bridge to that location, so it should be the same network.
So if a homey bridge and a homey pro run on the same network than i can make a zigbee network with the bridge on the other location if i understand right?
And then connect it to the homey pro on internet.
