In Wall Smart Display

Dear Homey enthusiasts,

I’m looking for a wall-mounted display that is compatible with Homey Pro and has a user-friendly interface.

I’ve looked at the Shelly Wall Display, but I find the interface somewhat confusing and, personally, I don’t find the design very appealing. The Aqara MagicPad S1 Plus looks much better and would be a great option, especially since I already have quite a few Aqara devices. However, Aqara’s regional differences and compatibility issues between markets make me hesitant to invest in it.

I’m also open to tablet-based solutions. My main concern with using a tablet is the charging cable, as I find the exposed cable makes the installation look untidy on the wall.

I’d really appreciate any recommendations or ideas. Hopefully, I’m not asking for too much! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The problem is with the bulky charger …

Homey Portal looks really sleek, and I love the aesthetic. But I think it still needs a proper charger/power solution.

I’m looking for something that can fit directly into the electrical box, like the Aqara S100 or MagicPad. Unfortunately, I don’t have drywall, so I can’t easily cut and patch the wall—working with concrete walls is much more difficult.
