I initially bought my Homey to replace mye aging Fibaro HCL, which was mainly used to controll my radiators. Even though I was able to migrate my setup to Homey quite easily, I found the climate features to be a bit too simple, especially if you have a large house with multiple heat sources in each zone. I have a couple of ideas on how to make the climate feature more useful.
- New flowcards related to zone climate, like setting target temperature for zone that are applied to all thermostats in zone.
- Support for additional device types in climate, for example fans, humidifiers/dehumidifiers, ventilation.
- Presets for climate. Similar to moods, but for climate devices.
- Setting primary sensor for zone, instead of calculating the average across sensors.
I also have wounderd why every zone is listet twice under climate, once with each thermostat and once again at the bottom with just the zone temperature and humidity. Maybe there are something I have missed regarding this.
