Ical calender time change

Thats very incorrect!! You must use the tags exposed by the trigger card when you want information about the event being triggered…

No wonder why you are getting empty lines in WhatsApp then…

Yet it remains strange that it works at the right time for the rest of the day. that whole day suddenly doesn’t work anymore, I’ve had this flow for years and it always worked. until a month ago. then I will convert the flows and let you know if it works.

If I understand you correct the problem is, that tho flow didn’t start at midnight as it should, right?
Have you checked if the time of Homey is correct?

I use a HP23 (v10.1.0-rc.2), so maybe it’s not comparable. But I notice a glitch of 2 hours in Insights. The values of today starts at 02:00 o’clock and not at 00:00 o’clock:

I don’t know if this is just HP23 related, but this could explain why your flow(s) doesn’t work correctly.
I informed Athom support already.

Athom has inconvenienced a lot of developers by forcing every app to run in UTC when SDKv3 was introduced, but apparently they can’t even get their own stuff working properly

From coming Sunday, you’ll see that every day starts at 01:00… :face_with_peeking_eye:

Better than a gap of 2 hours… :joy:

The flow did start at the correct time. But OP has misunderstood how to use global tags vs local tags (as I understand).

But as he wrote these flows worked for years, and and about 2-3 weeks ago a new firmware v10.0.2 was released for HP19.
But that’s just a guess.

Or it is a case of PEBCAK :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

It seems to be working again now. event start card and then wait 1 minute. so then it becomes 00:01 and then I think he sees events all day long.
and then use tag cards to see what is in the event. birthday, for example, and then it triggers it good.

With the old events card. Why cant i use it? It is a tag card or something else?

You have confused me by talking about to different things (i think)

I think i understand now.
Your flow are triggered by a whole day event, which starts 00:00. And you are using this flow to show which events are happening today by using the global tag Todays events, title and time.

I thought you were using the locally exposed tag from the trigger card Title.

  1. september i updated the app to v2.0.4 which had the following improvement:

Fetching calendars and triggering events/updating tokens isnt running at the same time anymore.

This improvement was done by making sure all events were triggered before updating the global tags.
In your case this means that when the full day event is triggered at 00:00, the global tag Todays events, title and time is updated after the event has been triggered.

I’ll see if i can switch the order to update tokens and then trigger events

v2.3.4 is just released which updates tokens first then triggers events right after

I have removed 1 minute of waiting time between the start of the card and the further flow. It seems like it’s working normally again. Check again tomorrow.
