Sorry if this is already addressed somewhere, but is there a dedicated forum here, at Athom, or some place else, to suggest future Homey improvements to Athom and eventually vote on them? Ideally followed by Athom developers, with no promise of course
This would befenit to both our community and Athom and help LG demonstrate that they bought Athom with good intentions ![]()
What’s your suggestion ![]()
Bit off topic, but have you ever considered doing something like UserVoice? Both from a customer and a developer perspective I think having searchable/trackable feature requests would improve the experience and probably lead to less duplicate support requests on your side.
Things I’m still waiting for:
- Dynamic energy prices for additional countries (including Austria)
- Deep app links to dashboards and devices
- Duration actually working when dimming Matter bulbs to 0%
- Can’t find the github issue right now, but some of the SDK typings are incorrect
Well, nice to see that you guys are watching
We could make a special forum here, but not sure if there are voting features, maybe you guys at Athom have already something, available, otherwise I am sure we can find some external page to do it for us? And a few rules from you guys would help to make it manageable, for example, no promises, no bug reports, only constructive suggestions for the future?
Edit: I just see your nominees for 2025, how about you create something similar for new feature suggestions, price could be to get our suggestion implemented? ![]()
You can post in the Ideas & Suggestions - Homey Community Forum where the idea can be further discussed in the community.
See also category descrition Ideas & Suggestions.
I think thats’s nice and all, but without some kind of voting system there is no way to tell what is actually important or just discussed for the sake of discussing. And I know that Athom is quite good at looking at the forum, but the chance of something just getting overlooked/not receive feedback is still very high as visibility in the forum is low and then why raise it at all?
Homey sent out an email survey a year ago. Back then, people could vote on what features they’d like to see built. Asking for ideas more than once a year isn’t really helpful. Asking on the forum won’t be representative of the entire user base either. But I would like to see what further plans Homey has for development.
This would be nice
