Homeydash.com, a Homey dashboard

Thanks, had that fixed already

Hi all,

I have an issue, and I am not sure what causes it. When I cast the homeydash URL to my Nest, it stalls loading the page - black screen with homey logo. I also have a continuous script running casting every 11 seconds. Does the same. But sometimes when I wake the Nest up from sleep - poof - the homeydash is there. The URL works fine in chrome and I can use it to configure the dash. Here is the flow I use to cast.

Any idea if I am doing something wrong or what is going on?

Putting a few 1s delays in the flow seemed to fix it! That, or the few settings I changes in the Nest (that I cant remember or retrieve :frowning: ). Anyway, I’m casting now.
EDIT:
Is the background image currently working on Google Nest? I cant get it to work. Tried dropbox publicly hosted images, tried links from peeps in this thread, but I can only get the standard background on my nest. Does anyone know anything?

Hello together,
I have a small problem. I got the new homey pro and took a new token for my Samsung tablet. Now the Sunset times, the sensor information and the battery information is not longer shown. Somebody knows the problem and has perhaps an idea to solve it?

Can anybody help me why the sunrise and sunset times not being showed?

Hello Peter and welcome,

For how long did you wait for it to appear?
Here it appears right away…
Try copying the URL and pasting it in a private browser tab to make sure no cached data or cookies get in the way.
Does that make a difference?

How many other browsers did you try, and which ones?

When you create and test run this card, does it return sunset time @ the timeline?

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried it on several browsers (edge, Opera incl inprivat) but no sucess.
Which (device) timeline do I have to look? i could not find it.(sorry newby)

Hi Peter,

The timeline is shown at the ‘frontpage’ of the mobile homey app.
Homey and apps can add notifications to it as well, so it’s good to check it every once in a while.
It can also be seen at the web app, hit the ‘ringer’ icon:

Can you try this, in order to ‘force’ set the correct local Homey time:

  1. go to https://my.homey.app/settings/system/location
  2. move the map to put the pointer in an other timezone
  3. wait a minute or so
  4. move the map back to put the pointer to Homey’s real location

If this was the issue, the sunset/rise times should appear in a while (I hope)

Hi Peter,

I did everything you mentioned without sucess…
But I know know that the location is not set…

Hmm. Also drop Support a note about this.
The [sunset] tag value should not be tijdt

Is your location set in the meantime?
What’s the time and timezone?
You can check it here https://my.homey.app/settings/system/general
below the System Information header.

Strange isn’t it…
I will also drop a mesaage at Support.
My location is:

Yeah, that part looks good.

Something seems to be going on with the sunrise/set implementation.

Now I’ve read several posts about sunrise/set flow triggers not triggering at expected times, which to me sounds related to your issue, while the tag [sunset] value should be, like, ‘20:45’ not ‘Tijdt

@Jero Ever heard about this odd sunset tag value?

Hi Peter,
Very much thanks to dive into it.
i tried to get help from support, but… howto do this??

There is no way to get support…

search for the word support

or @ homey.app, scroll down, or use browser search:

Sorry, this makes me look a little bit foolisch…
Support message has been made

You’re not the first one, Peter. It’s a bit hidden, isn’t it.

I did some testing and installed a app “zonnestanden” and extended the flow.

Now you see that this is working only for the app.
The internal sunset is still not availible…
Strange

Seems to prove the internal sun events are broken in some way.

Im trying to use Homey.ink on an old iPad mini (iOS 9). I see posts as late as 2023 that some get it to work, but I can’t. I’ve tried multiple (though old) browsers but none work. When I open the page on the iPad I just get the iPad version with N/A for weather and no devices shown. If I open the exact same web link on my phone it works.

Any suggestions? Or is the support dropped?

Hi,

How do I remove the Homey.ink?
Is this possible at all?
