Homey, Siri and HEOS speakers

Hello everyone,

I have a total of five Denon speakers – so-called HEOS speakers.

What I want to do: I want to get Siri to let me say, “Hey Siri, play the playlist ‘Peter’ on the living room speaker.”

I have both the HEOS app and HEOS installed on my Homey Pro.

If I understand correctly, I then need to activate Siri on the speakers, which I do in the HEOS app. However, Siri only offers me the option to select one speaker. I can only select one, whereas with Alexa I can select multiple speakers.

So my question is, why can’t I select all the speakers, and how can I get around this?

Is there anyone here who also uses Homey and HEOS? Can anyone give me some pointers? Do I need to buy a HomePod for this to work?

Best regards and thanks, Peter

I only know with Ggl Home you can group speakers, in order to command “play playlist x on [speaker group name]”.
Maybe something similar is possible in either HEOS or ios.

Thanks a lot. But I don’t wanna group the speakers. Sure, grouping makes sense for a party - for example.

But here I want to use each speaker individually and also want to tell each speaker to play songs individually. But I guess I have to buy a HomePod because this one is necessary to activate Siri - what I found so far in the internet
