That’s not very nice.
I’m sorry but that person is trying yo help you out in his own time. For you.
It wasn’t directed at him, merely highlighting that it was a waste of my time to check something that I already knew was fine.
I understand your frustration.
I am not saying that all power adapters go bad.
The reason I mentioned it because I saw other users having Zigbee issues due to the power adapter.
Also, I personally have an occasional under-voltage situation on my HP2023 with the revised power adapter (I use it in combination with the ethernet adapter), so I know it can actually happen.
Hence my suggestion to try another adapter.
If this is a continuous issue then I would definitely report it to Athom via Support | Homey.
I seem to have largely resolved my Thread connectivity issues, at least for now, through the following actions:
- Prevent Homey from connecting to Wifi by blocking its IP in router settings (50-70% improvement)
- Place Homey as far away from the router as possible (90% improvement)
This naturally bears no logic but it seems that Homey at any given time needs to have a connection issue with at least one Thread device. Adding more Eve Energy outlets has therefore reduced the probability of an important Thread device (Eve MotionBlinds in my case) being affected - an outlet retains its state (powered on/off) when experiencing a connection issue.
