Hi all, thanks for the feedback so far! This really helps us to iron out the bugs that we would’ve otherwised missed. Many of us will be enjoying the holidays the coming 1 - 2 weeks, so we will pick up bug hunting and update releasing in the new year. Just to manage expectations here a bit. Happy holidays!
Perhaps I added an entity with a low value, then removed the capability and added again with correct entity. If the capability id is the key for energy summation, this could be the reason. Then I was the mistake ![]()
Thanks for checking
I can find this information anywhere, but when will the Energy tab be released?
Is that also in mars 2025?
Probably you’ll get this answer: soon™ ![]()
I might not be understanding something correctly but:
-i enabled and installed the latest beta firmware
-i am in testflight for the app and installed the latest version
But I see no energy tab ?
Homey pro 2023 12.3.0 rc10
Homey app 9.1.0 (1641)
Am I missing something ?
Uninstalling and re-installing the Homey app might help.
Mind that you will have to make the app settings again after doing so.
Yep, that did it, thanks !
Met vriendelijke groet,
Marc Jurriens
@Doekse The percentage of major consumers is the percentage related to the consumption of the house, I assume? Would it be an idea to create an automatic “Total other small users” for other users, so that the totals is 100%. Because not everything is measured separately.
And this gives a good view of the ratio
Came here to say this. Its very confusing.
Homey Pro = 12.3.0-rc.10
iOS / Android = 14
Battery (inverter)= AlphaESS Smile-T10-HV-INV
I just put a new version of the app in testing. Double checked the result of the API call from AlphaESS pbat is positive and the grid is pgrid negative (meaning delivering back)

the values show correctly in the energy tab however the animation is incorrect.
Do you have a screenshot?
What’s the meaning of your Json fields?
The chart and the animation is showing the current power consumption (measure_power), the values above the chart are showing daily power usage (or dependent on selected timerange) of meter_power.imprted/exported.
Look again. There are two kWh numbers in the picture. P.S. this issue has already been resolved.
ok
That is what happens when the reply-button isn’t used.
The animation of the power flow isn’t correct IMO
These first two screenshots I made from your website (Homey Energy Dongle) .
In the upper screenshot I see an animation from 1 to 2. (On the website) This is never the case in the energy tab on my phone / tablet. It only shows 1 or 2.
In the lower screenshot I see an animation from 1 to 2a and at the same time to 2b. This is never the case in the energy tab on my phone / tablet. It only shows 1 and 2a or 2b.
Below you see the screenshots from my phone (android)
It will never show 2b when 1 and/or 2a are shown. According to my P1 meter it should

Rogier
Hello, I have the following questions:
-
I have several devices (for different reasons) on the P1 port and Homey sums them all for energy usage. How can I select a single, main one?
-
My solar panels are not supported by Homey but the production is in a number-tag. The same holds for the car charger. How can these number tags be attached to the energy dashboard for solar production and car charge usage?
How did you get gas/water? I use tado for heating and it calculates the gas usage by daily data points but the energy tab doesn’t recognize the gas meter entity. Any way I can manually enforce that?
For the second point, you could create a virtual device with Device Capabilites app for the measure_power value. Place you tag values there and you do not need the tags anymore.
go-e Charger App for Homey | Homey updated for better support for Homey Energy. It no set’s the device class to the new EV charger. In test now and pending approval to be published.
Existing users with already configured device should change the What is plugged in to “EV Charger” and newly installed devices will have the class set internally.
