What app do I need for the Homey pro to detect the change in state of my PC between on and off. thanks

You could use the app Net Scan

It doesn’t work for me. I have the PC with a fixed IP on the router but Homey always tells me it is offline. any ideas?.

It could be you have a firewall blocking access, so the app never gets a response.
Maybe try the TCP option and specify a port that you know is open.

Can you open the app settings page and change the Diagnostics Log option to Basic Information and log the activity while the PC is on (you might need to close the page and open it again to update the list). Then tap on Send Log and I will check.

The TCP ports issue does not work. but here you see the photos on the IP assigned to you by my computer, the net scan configuration and the log. thank you

As you can see, the PC is not responsive at all, hence the timeout.

Unfortunately an app doesn’t have access to Ping as it’s a low level OS function that is blocked. I have asked Athom if the could provide a hook but as it’s not required for most applications, they have declined.

Maybe you could add rule to your firewall to allow Homey’s IP address through.
