Hi!
So, my apologies in advance because this was undoubtedly an obscure use case, but I have a problem with my camera livestreams in my dashboards since the new app update on iOS (9.2.1).
As you can see above I was “abusing” the webkader widget to show a low latency https WebRTC stream provided by Home Assistant.
These streams used to start nicely on opening of the dashboard, and they were kept alive for the duration of the dashboard being open.
This all worked perfectly for a good while but since the aforementioned most recent iOS update (and without changing anything on my side) I now see this when opening my dashboard(s):
(sorry, very dusty iPad apparently)
Somehow the stream does not start directly anymore and even when clicking the giant play button I need to click again per stream to activate the actual camera feed.
It’s not device specific because I have the exact same behavior on my iPhone since the update.
I understand you guys are working on live camera streams but this workaround worked pretty well (maybe a bit too well?
).
Any idea what changed, or am I missing something obvious?
I guess I’ll just go back to patiently waiting until livestreams are introduced natively? ![]()
Thanks anyway for the help!
