Homey - Android App version 9.7

Not sure whether relevant, but this is a test/beta version right? The latest stable version released is 9.7.0.

Yes, I’m part of the Beta program

I’ve just noticed something interesting: on my Samsung S24 FE (Android 16) it has the 9.7.1 version, but on my Archos Hello 5 (Android 8.1), it shows 9.6.7 as the latest version.

What is your Android version?

Galaxy S24 Ultra, Android 16

In that case, I think it’s just a rolling update. It would be strange if it would be a combination of Android version and region.

I checked on all of my devices:

Galaxy S24 FE: 9.7.1, Android 16

Redmi Pad Pro: 9.7.1, Android 15

Realme 8: 9.7.1, Android 13

Archos Hello 5: 9.6.7, Android 8.1

Still on 9.6.7 here (The Netherlands; Samsung S25+; Android v16). As Sven indicates, it shows as a rolling update with unclear order. This time the update is rolled out unusually slow for some of us, I’ve at least never experienced such a delay from release till update.

Since they say:

It likely means that it’s a big (internal) upgrade. Maybe they chose to make the rolling update longer to have more time to troubleshoot any potential issues

This sounds like a plan.

I’ve got a OnePlus 15 and the Homey app version is 9.7.1.1882. (Auto updated)

In which country?

Oh, sorry. I’m in Sweden.

Ended up joining Play Store Beta, went to version 9.7.1.

Current version: 9.6.7
Country: Sweden
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S23
Android version: 16
Part of beta program: No

@Hasse_Hellstrom I’m also in Sweden, so it doesn’t depend on which country you’re in. Most likely the device is the deciding factor. Or maybe you’re a part of the beta program?

Also on 9.6.7 here, both on my Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Tablet. In the Netherlands.

I’m not going to join the beta program just for 9.7.1 , because to me Beta could mean more instability, something I’d rather not want right now. I’ll patiently wait :innocent:

Me too

In German we say “Was lange währt, wird endlich gut”.

English: “Good things come to those who wait.”

In theory the beta program should be aimed at that?
Not the stable version (but that would be guessuming).

Today 9.7.1 got available for me.

Straight from 9.6.7, it skipped 9.7.0.

Sweden. No beta.

I got 9.7.1 on the 6 feb.
