I see you also added phase support for the charger/car! Great! I’m currently on a granny charger so I configured it as 1 phase and 5A min and 13A max. I don’t see any A-changes in my Tesla app, while export is higher. I’m assuming that your app is triggering my Homey flow for adjusting power in order to achieve zero export, is this a correct assumption?
Arjen,
Amps need to be set via a flow. Start stop is a capability so that works directly. Is that the answer you were looking for?
Hello @Menno_De_Braak
Thank you for all the work and the effort.
I am trying to understand the app and have a question about the 3 phases inverter settings
In the controller the L1,L2 and L3 are empty. But in the settings i cant find where to fill in the power for each phase.
I hope you can help me, thank you in advance
Hi Gerrit, it seems that your inverter only reports total production and not per fase?
do you have a 3 fase inverter? Is the output the same over the fases? What brand do you have?
I use the homewizard kWh meter to measure production.
But let me know and I’ll have a look if this is a config thing or a missing feature.
Hello Menno, i have 3 inverters and 3 homewizard kw meters to analyse, on each phase i have a inverter and meter. because i can only choose one of them i made a virtual total. I think here it is going wrong
Ah ok so you want to be able to select multiple inverters right?
Hello Menno,
If that will be possible, it will be great.
I didnt had the option as you showed, but after switchting to 1 phase and then to 3 phases, i also get the option.
But l1,l2 and l3 are still empty
Hi Menno. Not completely, I have flows for start stop and amps. I now understand that start stop isn’t necessary, in the history of my Tesla I do see that the flow makes does lot more calls then the HEMS. You should say every call should be double right? Or does the app also considers the current charge status?
Concerning the amps, I don’t see any amp changes while I do have the flow in place. When I trigger manually it does have effect. When I do an EV diagnose it keeps stating;
verdict": “
Surplus 675W < drempel 3450W — wacht op meer zon”
While I have set 5A min, I don’t understand why he keeps using a 3.450 treshold.
I have coded the 5A as a minimum so the HEMS wil never set the charge amps lower then this. The min setting is for solar charging, if you set it to 1 or 2 amps (x3 fase) it wil charge sooner. if the surplus is not enough it wil never sent a set amps command. only when there is enough to fully cover the charge plan. I will however implement a last state check on the tesla to reduce traffic.
fixed! update the app to 1.6.9
Ah we are getting somewhere! I also noticed your settings of the solarpannels, you entered 3600 but should be 3.6 because it is in KWp
I’ll investigate further and try to fix asap.
Hello Menno, i also recognized the high power settings
. Mistake from my side. I changed it to 3,6
Please let me know if i can help you with information or data
Already found the solution. Your separate inverters most likely report on L1, I made a fix to 1.6.9 where you can set the fase manually to overrule this in the settings. I will push the update in 5 minutes.
Hello Menno,
Thanks for the update. It is working. ![]()
Tomorrow i can check it in realtime and will let you know the result
Great news!
have fun and let me know if something is missing or can be better!
