That’s strange. I also have the Aeotec Door and Window Sensor 7 (Gen 7), and the sensor status triggers the Heimdall alarm. To test, I opened the Window in Wendy’s room and took a screenshot in the Heimdall settings.
Ok, Can you please stop and restart the Heimdall app, wait a bit and open either door.
After that, send a Diagnostics report please.
@DaneedeKruyff Hi, I’m having a problem with the Aqara FP300 sensors; I can’t add them to the Heimdall setup. There’s no option in the Aqara device settings to add them to Heimdall, and the Aqara sensor doesn’t appear in the “Devices” section of Heimdall either. What should I do?
Could the problem be that the device is connected via Matter?
That may very well be. You actually cannot add a device to Heimdall, Heimdall will find all devices with the correct capabilities in Homey, regardless of brand.
If a device is not found it’s most likely caused by not presenting the correct capabilities to Homey.
Just tried and the sensors worked again. But did a restart also yesterday and tonight the Eufy wall light detected a false positive, but did not see anything in the log.

I’ve sent you a PM
When the alarm goes off all lights blink red, all cameras start to save the videos and the speakers say: Alarm detected, Police is informed.
Hi,
Thanks for the answers.
I have another question. I am using Aqara FP300 and FP2 sensors. I was wondering which of the 2 movement detection will trigger the alarm? And is there any way to only let it detect the presence sensor? And no movement?
Heimdall will use the alarm_motion capability of a device, it’s up to the app developer for a device to map functionality to Homey capabilties.
Theres no way you can develop so we can choose wich capability it will monitor? Since much more sensors will be mmwave sensors, its sad to not have that support.
Multiple people also have the same issue as i have right now
Hi @Julian_Borghuis
You could easily create a virtual Device with alarm_motion capability and map the presence sensor´s state to this. Virtual devices can be used with Heimdal.
Can i? Okay i will do that, but still if heimdall can create something so i dont have to use virtual devices it way neater
How do I connect my sensor then? With flows? Because thats not clean to be honest
It’s technically possible but I don’t see the added value in relation to the purpose of this app, so please use the method @4x4_Pete suggested.
Can you explain why you think this adds not much value? Because there will be more and more presence sensors.
Since a few years, I’ ve been using Heimdal, great app! But since a few weeks, something’s freaking me out and I can’t find the solution. When just opening the surveillance button (where you can see if the surveillance mode is armed, partially armed or disarmed) it automatically switches to “armed”, without doing anything! This happens on different (android) smartphones, so it’s not the smartphone itself. The status is not changed when checking the status on a (android) tablet or web-based interfaces. I’ve restarted Homey, I’ve removed the button and reinstalled it - so no flow whatsoever is now used with it. Anyone who has the slightest idea what could be the reason?
