That’s weird indeed… I have other sensors connected via both Zigbee and Matter over Thread/WiFi that show up in the device list just fine. It is only the LWR02 Matter over Thread sensor that is missing. I have tried restarting the Heimdall and Lafaer apps on my Homey… and I have tried running a rep…

New version published Version 2.12.0 Added support for alarm_open capability This version is now live in the Homey App Store. Devices that report their state through the alarm_open capability can now be used in Heimdall, so they can be added to your surveillance setup just like your other senso…

Hi Andy, Could you please stop Heimdall, start it again and after a bit of a wait send me a Diagnostics Report? Cheers!

Hi Danee, I did the app restart and waited a few minutes, then generated the Diagnostics Report: 549a31b0-6df0-48f5-afec-3d7a7f3b29d9 Let me know if you need any other testing or info Thank you kindly good sir

Hi Andy, I’ve had a look at the Diagnostics Report, no errors there. I guess it’s because of the use of occupancy_sensor capability instead of alarm_motion which Heimdall looks at. I don’t understand how it is working for @DirkG perhaps he has included the sensor at an earlier app version where it…

[image] DirkG: I installed the LWR01 That would be the difference, DirkG is using the LWR01, whereas I am using an LWR02 that has the additional sensors (temp & humidity) instead of the USB C powered option, and is roughly half the size of the older LWR01. [image] It looks like they have c…

If you compare the drivers of both sensors on GitHub ( link ), the LWR01 uses alarm_motion and the LWR02 uses alarm_presence. In my opinion, alarm_presence or alarm_occupancy is technically correct. I already pointed out this issue last year ( link ), but @Doekse hasn’t fixed it yet, for whatever reaso…

Totally missed that GitHub issue! My bad. The thing is, I don’t actually decide whether a device uses alarm_motion or alarm_presence. Homey simply maps the Matter clusters supported by the device, and Matter has separate clusters for motion and presence. When the LWR01 launched, presence wasn’t pa…

I was hoping you’d respond to my post… It’s true that this generally doesn’t affect the functionality, but it would still be nice if the correct capability were used.

I installed the LWR01 sensor with the Lafaer Homey app almost a year ago, in November 2025. The sensor provides the following capabilities:
