Heimann Smoke Sensor HS1SA-M - Firmware Update aborts

Hello,

I have Heimann Smoke Senors HS1SA-M with Firmware-Version 1.0.
Homey wants to update to version 1.7. After updating status is 100% an the device will rebooting, the update process aborts.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks

Are you sure that it’s the Heiman device? The Heiman app didn’t have any updates for 3 months now, I don’t think it has OTA support.

It’s Matter over Thread :wink:

@Thomas_Pietzschmann could you try placing the device as close to Homey, or your Thread Border Router, as possible during the update and see if that works?

I placed the smoke detector right next to the Homey during the update process. Unfortunately, without success.

In this case can you reach out so support about the issue? They can have a look and see what’s going on.

There appears to be a problem with updating directly from version 1.0 to higher versions. Intermediate steps seem to be required.
