Hey,
How easy is it to make an app that grabs JSON info from an API once a day?
The API is open to all https://api.octopus.energy/v1/products/AGILE-FLEX-22-11-25/electricity-tariffs/E-1R-AGILE-FLEX-22-11-25-B/standard-unit-rates/
All it needs to do is grab the rates every day at like 4PM and put it into Homey somehow.
There is already an app that grabs day ahead prices.
Did you look into that to figure out what you want can already be done?
Appstore stable version: Power by the Hour App for Homey | Homey

Power by the Hour
Get data from a Homey power/gas/water meter device, and show the usage / production per hour, per day, per month and per year. Know the monetary value and use dynamic tariffs. Know how much your Always-on appliances are using and safe hundreds of Euros per year!
This app can be used for instance together with the Enelogic and You…

Hey,
I gave it a shot, but unfortunately, it doesn’t accurately reflect the rates I’m currently on.
Very unlikely!
PBTH gets its data from the official ENTSO-E site.
You probably didn’t configure the VAT and energy tax + markup of your provider correctly.
Ah! That would make sense! Ill give it a go
