Flow cards from apps not available

I just installed the KNMI-app and the openweather-app on my homey pro 2023, but i’m not getting the promoted cards shown on the download-page.

KNMI-app only shows the when-card “Nieuwe gegevens van het KNMI” and the then-card “Haal nieuwe gegevens”.

Openweather-app does not even appear on the list of the available apps when selecting a card.

Help, what is going on here? Are my expectations wrong or something else? I already rebooted the homey and tried reinstalling the apps. Sidenote: it’s the first time I tried to use the apps, so I have not seen it function before.

Did you add the device KNMI Weather?

Hans, thank you very much. There was something wrong with the expectations so it seems. :slight_smile: I’m new to this and I didn’t expect I had to add a “device” to make it work. Something learned today.

That are kind of virtual devices. You select a location and other settings (poll interval…) that is stored in device settings. So can add several weather “devices” for different locations and every device has it’s set of data.
