I have previously used OnSwitch to make lights flash or behave like ersatz fireworks at special occasions.
New years, halloween, my kids birthdays and so on.
Still, I would love to automate some of this; e.g. have lights flash and a given playlist start when the door is opened on my son’s birthday for example - or the living room lights change color to match whichever team is in the lead of a given F1 match, then flash rapidly and randomly upon victory - or if the local soccer team wins a match. You get the gist.
The Hue app has cards allowing for a single rapid or a single slow flash, color cycling as well, but these are slow to activate and do not give me the flexibility I would want.
Any advice?
